Miguel Sbastida

Miguel Sbastida is a visual artist and researcher working across installation, situated performance and video, in an investigation around the intersections of cultural natures, deep ecology and the processes of climate breakdown.

Over the last ten years, his works have been exhibited internationally at venues like the Zhou B Art Center, ARCO Madrid, Locust Projects, Korea Foundation Gallery Seoul, CDAN museum, BOZAR Brussels, Laboral Gijon, Matadero Madrid, Chicago Sullivan Galleries, Es Baluard, or the Netherlands Institute for Media Art; among others. He holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2015-17) and a BFA by Universidad Complutense of Madrid (2007-12). He currently lives and works between Spain and Finland.
