Moradavaga

Moradavaga is an artistic collective born out of the collaboration between architects Manfred Eccli (Bolzano, Italy, 1981) and Pedro Cavaco Leitão (Porto, Portugal, 1976).

Based in Kaltern/Caldaro (Italy) and Porto (Portugal), it began its work in late 2006, focusing on so-called ‘terrain vague’, abandoned buildings and the activation of public space, devising performative objects and urban interventions, such as social workshops, ideas competitions and architectural happenings.

Blending architecture, art and design, their works function as “dormant tools”, in a state of waiting, requiring public involvement to activate them.
