Micáh

Micáh was born on the island of São Vicente, in the Cape Verde archipelago, and has been living in Portugal, in Europe, for over twenty years.

Passionate about music, he began his DJ career at the age of 15 in his homeland and hasn’t stopped since! His sets invite us on a journey around the world, particularly across the African and South American continents, through funk, hip hop, reggae, cumbia, salsa, zouk, compas and the sizzling rhythms of Brazil.

An avid collector of vinyl records, he has performed at some of southern Europe’s biggest music festivals, such as the MED – World Music Festival and the F Festival.

In addition, he is regularly invited to entertain at parties in bars and samba circles in the city where he lives, Faro.
Always on the lookout for new sounds and trends, Micáh possesses a unique and surprising musical sensibility.
